Inverted Yoke, 2005

"In regarding the yoke as an ancient oppressive symbol, it was my intention in its simplicity, to modify this configuration. By inverting or reversing the direction of the yoke it was possible to transform this object of wood, stone and steel to an open yoke, so that it might be an image symbolic of openness and liberty." –B.F.
